Approaching your stay mindfully
Presence
Upon welcome, we invite you to slow down. Notice the stillness and activate your senses: look at the trees, listen to the birds. This practice and moment of appreciation is an offering back to all nature and mother earth.
Respect for the land
At the Town of New Tecumseth, we acknowledge that we are on the treaty lands and traditional territory of the Anishinaabe peoples. Specifically, the Ojibwe/Chippewa, Odawa, and Potawatomi peoples, collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy.
Connection
Taking time to connect, relax and unwind improves your health and lends to a positive state of mind, better sleep, and overall well-being. There is no internet in the cabin.
